Our client, a well renowned Government Authority in Abu Dhabi, has an immediate requirement for a Career Development Advisor with experience in Railways and Transportation.

The purpose of the role is to oversee organisational Learning and Development strategies and training implementation pertaining to all Rail Related Disciplines.

• Creation and implementation of Learning and Development strategy for Rail related disciplines.
• Design and delivery of competency framework for Rail related disciplines.
• Conducting and procuring commercial and engineering related training courses.
• Oversee the management and coordination of all certifications and ensure accurate record keeping of all training outcomes.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with local and international Universities and Educational facilities to further expand training and learning opportunities.
• Conduct research on rail training vendors and evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
• Establish the UAE National training centre and manage accreditations from International Rail institutions.

• Bachelors Degree from a recognised university
• Rail qualifications preferred - at least one of;
• Membership of the Institution of Railway Operators
• Member of the Institute of Railway Signalling Engineers
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport
• Minimum of 10 years experience in training and certification in Railway Industry
• Excellent communication skills essential
