Job Description Our client a well structured and progressive entity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has an immediate requirement for a well experienced and result focused General Manager for their Steel Cut & Bent Division. To qualify for this challenging role the candidate will be responsible for these on going responsibilities, with a focus to achievement continuously:
Key Responsibilities

To create and manage a new Steel Cut & Bent products company including:

Creation of new company

  • Carrying out feasibility study
  • Preparing Business Plan
  • Determining the scope of manufacturing operations
  • Determining the commercial scope of the company
  • Preparing a plan to create the new company, including building a factory and offices, recruiting personnel, building a commercial function, building an operations function, building an administration function
  • Managing the creation of the company

Management of new company

  • Day-to-day management of the company
  • Preparation of business plans and budgets
  • Implementation of business plans and budgets
  • Ensuring that the company meets all HSE requirements
  • Ensuring the company meets financial and other operational targets
  • Regular reporting of financial and operational results

Position Scope

  • Full Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash flow responsibility
  • Full asset and human resources responsibilities

 

Key Attributes
  • 10 years of experience in a similar industry, with minimum 3 years in a senior management capacity.
  • Start-up experience will be ideal.
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Good understanding of operations
  • Good understanding of sales and marketing
  • Financial numeracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Ideally, the job holder will have fluent written and spoken English and Arabic
Salary USD 155,000 Per Annum
