Job Description

Our client a result focused government organization based in Dubai is looking to recruit a Director Operations to direct and manage the Operations activities, taking overall responsibility for consolidating the performance and unified reporting to the CEO.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for controls and supervision of accounting activities,
  • Overall Operations planning, direction, and timely execution of financial services and annual budget.
  • Establish guidelines and performance expectations
  • Management of annual budget in line with entities financial planning
  • Identification, developing and implementing Operations strategies in compliance with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Setting procedures and standards for support function across the entity
  • Manages Finance, Administration, IT, Customer Service and Legal functions
  • Prepare Performance Reports and advise the management on the progress of all work
  • Advising and negotiating contracts and framework agreements
  • Oversees the planning, development, administration, implementation and maintenance of appropriate continuity plans for IT infrastructure.
  • Oversees administration and procurement activities
  • Reviews legal contracts and works closely with the legal department
  • Reviews all reports prepared by the Section's Managers and provides recommendations and guidelines.
Key Attributes
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role with emphasis on managing diverse activities
  • Knowledge of operational and administrative functions in organizational support services environment.
  • Experience and or knowledge of Customer Service, Legal and Information Technology
  • Experience and or knowledge of financial, accrual and management accounting practices and principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proven experience in Strategic Planning
Salary AED 28,000/- to 48,000/-
