Job Details: HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES - UAE NATIONALS ONLY

Our client, a well reputed and fast progressing government organization based in Dubai is looking to recruit a Head of Human Resources to direct and manage the Human Resources activities.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of the entities Human Resources budget
• Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing HR strategies
• Setting of overall policies and procedures for the entity
• Ensuring efficient, quality and timely provision of employee services and support
• Responsible to Identify, review and approve talent requirement in coordination with team directors
• Management of the annual manpower planning process; overseeing the manpower requirements and KPI's associated with the requirements.
• Ensures an effective recruitment program, manages the development of detailed job descriptions, sets key attributes and competencies, and creates innovative recruitment solutions to identify, screen and invite top talent in for interviews.
• Manages the interviewing process with the recruitment committee
• Negotiates remunerations packages and benefits with selected candidates
• Oversees employment contracts/offers and facilitates joining formalities.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial role with emphasis on Human Resources and Personnel Management
• Experienced and knowledgeable of Human Resources best practices, policies and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of UAE Labor Law and the Human Resources Management Law.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Strategic Thinking and Planning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in Staff Development and Strategic Planning skills
• UAE National preferred
