| Job Description |
Our client an established entity in the investments business based in Dubai is looking to recruit a Head of Asset Management to be responsible for managing portfolios and funds.

| Key Responsibilities |
- Direct the development and execution of strategic objectives consistent with the diversification and augmentation of existing asset management services.
- Review and enhance ancillary activities, such as research and analysis
- Analyse existing asset management activities
- Interact with Business Development and align investment policy and decisions with incoming assets.
- Establish the Leadership and operational structure of the team
- Review and agree Asset Allocation strategies for investment funds and Portfolios
- Develop systems and controls to ensure suitable and appropriate controls are in place
- Provide a reporting mechanism for management to review and control the business
- Identification, agreement and documentation of high-level executive strategy for the diversification of existing asset management operations, specifically the definition of products and service offerings.
- Identification of staff resources to develop team structure, in conjunction with the agreed strategy
- Implement a robust risk management framework addressing portfolio maintenance, research and analysis
- Coordinating with various monitoring and regulatory departments to become a fully licensed provider of financial services

| Key Attributes |
- 10 plus years of experience with private equity or investment firms
- MBA Finance or CFA, CPA or CMA preferred
- Ability to manage a team
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to deliver on commitments
