| Job Description |
Our client a well established company in the events industry with an excellent track record of delivery in the region has a requirement to recruit a Finance Manager for their existing team of professionals. The purpose of this role is to support management by controlling financial issues according to the agreed standards and with statutory accounting requirements
The requirement for this role is to perform the following tasks and with effectiveness

| Key Responsibilities |
- Manage Payments to ensure all payments are issued in a timely manner and with appropriate entries being made accurately to represent the terms of payments of vendors
- Reconcile and oversee all General Ledger entries in the system
- Coordinating with the bank by increasing relationships
- Receivables management responsible for overseeing the monthly reporting, verifying that the information entered into the system is accurate and reflects the contract.
- Requests for petty cash to conform with set expenditure, responsible for inventorying monitoring to avoid unnecessary expenditure in the office.
- Budget management using the general ledger reviews the previous years, reporting to management on performance vs. budget
- Reconciliation of advertising spend and expenditures on events for confirmation of details
- Responsible to be part of the event team to facilitate the smooth operations of the events, this is seen as being a proactive team player in our clients organisation.

| Key Attributes |
- Overall finance management performance cash flows, budgeting, etc.
- Accounting practice efficiency
- Degree level qualification as well as certificate in Accounting
- A good understanding of accounting systems, knowledge of accounting packages and word and excel packages.
- Ability to write reports and present ideas.
- Ability to manage a small team.
- Experience Required - At least 5 years related experience.
- Language Skills - Excellent written and spoken English. Fluent Arabic.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in order to deal effectively with all departments within the company.
- Leadership and team building skills and will be a strong team player themselves.
