Our client, an established government enterprise is recruiting a Senior Advisor Research - Policy for their Dubai office.

This position requires experience in research and policy with a background in economics and sociology and or design and architecture.

To qualify for this assignment, the candidate will bring the following experience to the role:

• Recommend research projects based on data collection and analysis
• Develop research and project management methodologies and capabilities
• Design, manage and implement a portfolio of projects including development of project work plans, personnel and budgets.
• Produce policy documents under that guidance of senior management
• Lead research for delivery of assigned projects
• Ensure project specific expected outcomes are achieved
• Project team leadership and mentoring
• Establish a Data Bank, based on international best practices, analyze data and recommend projects
• Identify cities to benchmark best practices, monitor and compare based on their development and quality of living performance
• Design and undertake surveys and questionnaires on quality and cost of living, risk analysis, doing business

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working with Management Consulting firms, preferably having worked on Government advisory projects.
• Experience in creating comprehensive database on various aspects of development
• Define and implement benchmarks inline with best practices.
• Knowledge of SWOT analysis and strong analytical approach to identify major related issues
• Ability to develop and implement project plans
• Production of policy documents associated with research outcomes based on international best practices criteria to be approved and delivered to the team.
