Job Description

Our client, a Government organization is recruiting an Advisor Data Manager for their operations in Dubai.

Coordinate the creation and maintenance of a knowledge database in order to ensure that the information is well organized, comprehensive and accessible to staff and external stakeholders.

This position requires previous data and or knowledge management experience including collection of data from global sources.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage the operation of the database / knowledge system
  • Ensure development of appropriate systems to ensure that staff and external stakeholders have effective and efficient access to data storage systems
  • Advise senior management regarding ‘best practice' data management
  • Promote staff and stakeholder contributions and use the data / knowledge bank.
  • Provide research into worlds ‘best practice' and leading thinking in data management
  • Ensure the data facility remains secure
  • Provide budgetary and program information to ensure the database meets expectation of management
Key Attributes
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar capacity
  • Experienced in having developed and launched a database and or knowledge management system.
  • Development of relevant supporting policies and procedures
