Job Description

Our client a government owned organization based in Dubai is recruiting a Web Marketing Manager

Objective:

Lead cross functional projects in the development of ecommerce functionality and market offers including B2C and B2B projects. Proactively manage online marketing programs and campaigns in support of current and future initiatives. Manage and develop Affiliate Partner program and Search Engine Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead web development and marketing efforts including development of micro-site, web campaign, and site functionality.
  • Promote overall digital content portfolio and specific digital media content offerings (sites/pages, blogs, widgets, online video, etc.) in online media.
  • Identify and develop online marketing campaigns and tools including SEM, email marketing, newsletter marketing.
  • Plan and execute on projects in close co-operation with internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver specifications to IT and coordinate the implementation from concept through testing and market launch.
  • Build and maintain relationships to secure coverage with key entertainment and vertical bloggers, magazines and websites.
  • Secure editorial placements on major online portals.
  • Submit content offerings for awards and lists (i.e. Online Journalism Awards, Best of the Web).
  • Secure mention of the organization in major trend features covering the web.
  • Build awareness, buzz and affinity for the organization and its key senior management team on social networking sites.
  • Develop and maintain presence of video clips on major user-generated content sites
  • Serve as a liaison with all other departments, initiative owners, Marketing and Corporate Communications teams, to leverage all digital resources and assets.
  • Monitor and evaluate new technologies and promotional vehicles to ensure that the organization is on the cutting edge of new innovations in the digital media space.
  • Collect data and evaluate performance of promotional vehicles and provide reports on successes and trends using key measurement techniques on the web like Blogs, Trends, Buzz etc
Key Attributes
  • University or equivalent degree or equivalent Marketing education
  • Project Management experience and experience of leading projects in cross-functional environment
  • 3-6 years of experience in online work
  • Conceptual understanding of IT Systems and data infrastructures
  • Pro-active in driving assigned areas of responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently but thrive working together in teams, and consistently achieve objectives within tight timelines
  • Self-starting, flexible, results-driven, quick-learning personality
  • High level of assertiveness and goal orientated
  • Demonstrable influencing & persuasion skills
  • Team player with outstanding communication skills of both Arabic and English
  • Experience in working with Clients and Agencies
Salary AED 27,000 to 32,000 dependant on experience
