Our client, a Semi Government organisation based in Dubai, has a requirement for a Corporate Legal Counsel to join their office.  

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal you will be responsible for all areas of Corporate law, Commercial law and research.  Providing trusted legal advice and facilitating the growth and progression of the organisation.

Duties will include but not be limited to; 

• Negotiating, drafting and reviewing of all contracts and legal agreements.
• Drafting MOU's and MOA's.
• Liaising with external counsel.
• Communicating with clients both verbally and in writing.
• Performing risk management assessments.
• Researching UAE law in order to provide sound legal advice to the CEO and offer the organisation viable procedures and solutions.
• Knowledgeable with freezone authority regulations and procedures.
  
• Working with all departments to assist them in all areas of progression.
• All other legal administration duties as and when required.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Law.
• Minimum of 8 years experience with a Corporate and Commercial background.
• UAE experience is essential.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating all types of contract.
• Good attention to detail with strong researching skills.
• Ambitious and career oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
