Job Description

Our client, a Semi-Government Healthcare organisation in Dubai have an urgent requirement for a Manager - Customer Protection Unit.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that Healthcare Standards, Regulations and Procedures are accurately and diligently followed thereby minimising customer complaints.  In the event of complaints against the organisation then they will act as a mediator between the licensee and customer to effectively resolve the issue in the best interest of both parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and recording all feedback and complaints.
  • Conducting a thorough investigation into all medical grievances and creating a full and complete report for consideration.
  • Manage the review of all cases by the Healthcare Professions Council.
  • Ensure that all facilities are educated on Healthcare Standards and Procedures which must be followed.
  • Carry out random checks to make sure practices are being implemented.
  • Acting as a mediator between licensee and complainant.
  • Manage all administration, document management and reporting for the Customer Protection Unit Department.
  • Create a network of expert contacts who will advise on specific cases.
  • Minimise the overall risk of malpractice complaints through education and awareness.

 

Key Attributes
  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelors Degree is essential, a qualification in Medicine or Law would be preferred.
  • Ability to work alone and on own initiative.
  • The suitable candidate will be assertive yet empathetic in sensitive situations.
  • Must be a solution provider.
  • Excellent reporting skills are essential.

 

Salary AED 23,000/- plus benefits
