Our client, a Government Organisation in Dubai, have an immediate requirement for a Senior Manager - Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, to work with their team.

The purpose of this role is to develop Management Principles, Procedures and Cultures to minimise Health, Safety and Environment Risks and ensure adherence to all Government and Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

• Provide Technical expertise and managerial support to Engineers and Planning Specialists.
• Assure organisational compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and Standards.
• Facilitate the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) standards.
• Goal setting and performance expectations for department employees.
• Strict monitoring of all accidents and investigations with a stringent reporting process.
• Creating and implementing an environmental handbook.
• Establish all departmental training needs and enhance the performance of employees throughout the division.
• Stringent and accurate reporting to the CEO identifying organisational areas for improvement.
• Extensive coordination and liaison with External Government and Semi-Government authorities
• Performing other related tasks as and when required.

• BSc in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science.
• 10 to 15 years of QHSE experience of which 7 years should be in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
• Knowledge of the principles and requirements of Environmental Risk Assessment.
• Must have experience working with analytical and scientific software, graphic imaging and CAD Technology
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Arabic.
