Our client, a transportation organisation in Dubai, have an immediate requirement for an Expert - Transportation - Arab Nationals only.

The purpose of the role is to provide independent specialist advice on management and operational practises, avoiding conflict of interest and advising Senior Management of all key issues.  The successful candidate will be experienced, well qualified and have the ability to assess, compare and give impartial advice to facilitate the improvement of the organisations overall strategy.

• Provide specialist transportation advice to the CEO on project issues and progress.
• Ensure all safety issues are taken into account in the planning stage of the project.
• Develop project budgets and ensure the project is delivered within the specific budgets and time frames.
• Review all project reports submitted to the CEO to ensure quality and accuracy of reports are maintained.
• Define all Key Performance Indicators for projects and implement standards by which these will be measured.
• Audit the performance of contractors and project managers reporting findings to CEO
• Review the performance of the Business Unit as a whole and individual departmental systems.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on behalf of the organisation, writing technical papers and public speaking to communicate the services effectively.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the CEO as and when requested.

• Masters Degree from a recognised University
• 12 years of experience in an advisory or expert role.
• Previous experience in budgeting and auditing financial reports is essential.
• The ability to create comparisons and make informed decisions is a must.
• The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate responsibility and create a climate of enthusiasm and dedication.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
